Makapuu Beach

 

Makapuu Beach is a popular body-surfing beach in East Oahu. Amazing view from the Lookout on top of the hill. Just a mile away is the Makapuu Lighthouse Trail for avid Hikers.

Kaupo Beach Park

 

Kaupo Beach Park is walking distance from Sea Life Park, about a mile past Makapuu Beach towards Waimanalo.

Beautiful and naturally scenic beach. Kaupo sounds like "Cowpoke" without the "K".

I had never heard this beach name before until I looked it up while updating my photo gallery. It is located at the "Makai Research Pier".

Makapuu Lookout

 

Awesome view of Manana Island (also called "Rabbit Island) and Kaohikaipu Island. (That's a mouthful!)

One of the most beautiful beaches on the Island of Oahu. Bellows Beach is located at Bellows AFB. Walking distance from Hunananiho State Park.
