Makapuu Beach

 

Makapuu Beach is a popular body-surfing beach in East Oahu. Amazing view from the Lookout on top of the hill. Just a mile away is the Makapuu Lighthouse Trail for avid Hikers.

MAKAPUU & SANDY BEACH

Kaupo Beach Park

 

Kaupo Beach Park is walking distance from Sea Life Park, about a mile past Makapuu Beach towards Waimanalo.

Beautiful and naturally scenic beach. Kaupo sounds like "Cowpoke" without the "K".

I had never heard this beach name before until I looked it up while updating my photo gallery. It is located at the "Makai Research Pier".
